Start Somewhere
The farm is so much more than just a farm to us. I've seen boredom reach out and grab the children in our area like a vise. Lack of purpose and self worth seems to be gripping them until they turn to questionable activities to get that feeling of satisfaction they're looking for. The choices only lead to temporary relief from the unrest boiling inside. When that relief is gone, all that's left is guilt and shame. This leads to the need to once again do something to drown out those feelings, which again leads to bad choices. It's a vicious cycle! For several years I've had a growing stir in my mind to find a way to break this cycle for our community! My own feelings of inadequacy have held me back and Ive said to myself "Self; who do you think you are? You are way to little to do anything about it!" And thats true. But God is not small and if He gives a dream HE is big enough to make it happen! We just have to start. Somewhere. Anywhe
